UK Hip-Hop has finally grown up. After years of emulating the US, we've finally found our own gritty street sound - thanks in part to the development of grime and high profile UK rappers such as Kano, Dizzee and Wiley. But we want to know more. We want to know who the next big UK MCs will be, and who will help provide the UK with it's own hallowed space in hip-hop history. So we did the only thing we could; we hit the streets in order to uncover the hottest UK talent on the blocks.  With pirate radio, My Space, online stores and the surviving independent record shops bulging with mix tapes and rappers hiring street teams to sell their wares on street corners, we found no end of eager, aspiring rappers with an inmate sense for business aswell as the beats.

And here they are, from players who're tentatively tipping into big league to street savvy underground warriors. Hell, some of them are so underground one of them couldn't even make it...Mike GLC got arrested on his way to Ladbroke Grove for wearing a bullet proof vest! Let's shoot the shit...
